She ain't a looker but she'll do


Here's where the boat is at the moment. I'm dialing in the gantry, wand system and racks over the next few days. The boat will be primed in a week or so and ready for a test sail soon.

  1. The stump extends a long way above the foredeck. If its really very thick and heavy it might not break under vang loads, but then the foredeck will have to be exceptionally strong to take double those loads as its only half way up the stump. Have you considered a compression strut to the bow from the TOP of the stump?

  4. paint fixes most things, eric and I got the RX put together today and hope to take it out to the lake tomorrow. you should come play soon.

  5. Hey Phil, sorry for the late reply. I didn't notice the comments as people don't normally comment on my posts. There is a strut underneath the foredeck that goes straight into the bow. The strut ties into the bulkhead and also bonds to the underside of the foredeck. I put the strut in there after seeing the Teknologica builds.
